Alan, the something that you speak of is a BLACK HOLE. In the BLACK HOLE it looks like NOTHING IS THERE, but when you dive into it, it is filled with what appears to be a lot of somethings. But in this case here (this thread) it turns out to be just a "bunch" of NOTHINGS~~~

WOW!!!! Now 151574 Views of 115 pages. That is a lot of looking at nothing :whoa: That is 1318.0347 views per page. Does a .0347 view see as much nothing as a full one view sees?? How quick is a .0347 view? It's good that a view like that sees nothing, cause there ain't nothin thar.

My advice would be to not dive into it. :whoa:
Nothing ever comes out. :whoa:

By the way, what does happen to the matter that falls into a black hole ? :\
"Matter can neither be created nor destroyed", although it can be converted into energy and vice-versa. So, what happens when a black hole is full? :\

Does it matter?

Also, would people living in a black hole know it? Are we certain that we're not in a black hole?

Nothing makes sense anymore.

All I can say is if you are in a black hole watch out for the Luminiferous Aether.

It's still there __ it's just condensed.
There is enough space in the Empire State Building, that if the atoms were condensed to the point where all electrons, protons, neutrons, and subatomic particles were touching (with no space between them), it would be about the size of a sewing needle.

And that's NOTHING to sneeze at. ACHOO! :D

Well, if we were in a black hole we would still be able to see out of it, because, although light cannot leave it, it can enter. Unfortunately we would be too condensed to live. :(

But there is a limit to compression. A black dwarf is already so compressed that it csn be compressed no further, so what happens to its matter when it enters a black hole? :\

Black holes have been known to swallow up other black holes, so maybe the hole gets bigger as it absorbs matter. :\

Then again, as Bobby Lee said, "No matter".

That would make a good rockabilly group, "Luminiferous Aether and the Black Holes." ;-)

That would be a great group. Their biggest hit might be "There ain't nothing goin' on.
