What is your preferred speaker configuration for pedal steel? Just the size and the number, to keep things simple. Whether it's a speaker cabinet or a combo amp doesn't matter. I'd just like to hear some thoughts on what you prefer, 1x12, 1x15, 2x12, 2x10, 4x10, something else? |

Never tried anything but a 15 inch, but would like to try a 10 and a 15 inch together in the same cab. |

By 2x12, do you mean two 12" speakers in the same cab, separate cabs, or both?
I'm voting 1x12 because I run stereo 1x12 cabs. |

(1) 15" and (1) 2x12" for me. 4 x 10 can work really well too. |

I'm currently using a 15" Emminence EPS-15C with an MB200 so I checked 15". I've used other speakers including several 12" and could be happy with either. |

I've several amps with JBL E130 and K130 15" speakers that do the bulk of the work, but the BDR and extension cab with a pair of JBL K120's is a real sweetie when the stage volume is low. |

As from today it "might" be a 12 and a 15...... Cube 80XL with the 12" and linked to a 15" BW NEO in a seperate cab...(mentioned in another thread)

One 15" speaker or 4 X 10 in stereo . I am not playing out any longer so it really doen't matter but it's fun experimenting.
