Thought I'd share a couple of photos from last night's R&B gig. I played my Sierra 8-string through a Sarno Freeloader, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Line6 POD XT, and Mesa/Boogie Maverick amp. Out music is reggae, rock and oldies.
Tuning (low to high) is G, B, D, F#, A, B, D, F#. I lower the bottom string to E for some rock tunes.

Bob, how is that board the guitar is on, attached to the stand? |

It's not attached, Paul. I just glued some wooden strips to the underside of it to keep it from moving around. There's rubber on the top side to keep the guitar from slipping. _________________ -πππ- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Hey bOb:
Looks like the stand is exactly the right height as your arms are at a right angle to the strings. I sit down with my MSA D-12 and have the exact same angle, very comfortable.

Looks like a fun gig b0b, sometimes the quaint setting vs a full 6-7 piece band is a nice diversion. This is at the Dunn Bros last fall and I played my Gibson EH125 and accordion using my Cube60. Beautiful evening and folks were enjoying a glass of wine & a beer
