JBL D110f Pair

Post by Brent Martens »

I have a pair of JBL D110f's for sale.

They were recently reconed by Weber at a cost of $90 per speaker plus two-way shipping. According to his website they are no longer offering recones for this speaker, which is a shame since they are supposedly the only reconer with the capability to properly remagnetize speakers. The speakers are not even broken in. I had them reconed as an experiment, but I've since gone in the opposite direction (Celestions!) for my Vibrolux Reverb.

$325 for the pair plus shipping.

impedance?

Post by Darrell Birtcher »

I have a friend that might be interested in these.
What impedance were these reconed to?
Also, is it just the camera angle, or is the
dust cap not aligned properly on that
left speaker? Would you consider
selling them separately or do you need
to sell them as a pair? Thanks.

Still available? Sold? No interest? Left hanging like a dangling participle?

Sorry to dangle!

I'm sorry I didn't see the responses. Looking at my profile, I get onto the forum about once every five years.

The JBLs sold way back then. I think the guy liked them. I did not, obviously. I was looking for a loud, detailed pair of 10s and they were neither. I tried quite a few, and settled on 80s era Celestion G10-s. Not what I was expecting, but nothing beats trying and listening. They're still in the SFVR and I haven't looked back. Wait, that's not true. I bought an Eminence Ramrod and a Lil Buddy (cause I like the C Rex in my BFDR), but never got around to popping them in. Maybe that's the key to switching off the endless desire to fuss with your gear--have a Plan B in the basement but don't actually use it.
