By the way " Beer Bottle Mama" was written by Rusty Harp and a bit of it by L T, both members of the 101 Ranch Boys....I think you will find both names on it as the writers.....

This thread had a remarable 7.5 year dormancy. I knew something was up when I saw b0b's avatar photo.

You can't talk to LT without feeling good... or at least better than when the coversation began. He's always to most engaging performer in the room when he steps down from the stage to take a break.

You know.....I go with him to the convention but rarely spend time with him because that is exactly what he loves to do...I love to watch the way he interacts...I know it brings him joy. If all goes well he should be there this year again...He see his doctors every 6 months and he is more healthy than they are..

Bobby, What a nice thing to say..Thank you, so much.
He is a nice man, that's for sure, but then again so are you...He greatly admires your style on the steel guitar...and the person that you are..

I got an old copy of "The Hillbilly Scrapbook" from a friend and found a photo of the 101 Ranch Boys in there. So I thought that it would be very appropriate to give the book to LT - looks like he enoyed it! :)

Love you, LT!

Best Regards, Walter

My former band member, steel guitar player Harry "Hap" Hatterer from York Pa worked with the 101 Ranch Boys and the lady singer that was with them after the end of the 101 Ranch Boys band.
