This Jerry Byrd Frypan 8-string is in excellent condition. It has a serial number of 135. Included is the stand and case (which has 2 keys).
It was owned by my Father who has since passed away. He had this guitar for many years.

My dad (Frank Brought) was a steel guitar player. He bought this many years ago, I believe from Scotty's Music. For those familiar with the tone of the frypan, it really is a beautiful instrument.

He had quite a collection of instruments, a number of which are currently at Scotty's on consignment.

Sandra I remember your dad fondly. I did not know him well but I do recall some friendly little steel guitar meets at his music store back in the '70s. I bought an old 4-neck Fender Stringmaster steel from him in 1977. Wish I still had it. My condolences, and good luck with the sale.
