Question To Ponder....
If you were able to master any other musical instrument (other than Pedal Steel), what instrument would it be?? Paul Franklin was quoted in an article a few years ago that he would choose the harmonica. His reason was that when he was done with a gig, all he would have to do is put it in his pocket and go home!

Kantele is Finland's national instrument, much like an autoharp, but then again not. For more information, check: http//virtual.finland.fi/finfo/english/kantele.html or www.kantele.com
I have a 30 string Kantele, that my greatgrandfather built in the 40's, can't play it though, but it's beautiful and sounds huge. <FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by Jussi Huhtakangas on 20 January 2003 at 05:55 AM.]</p></FONT>

Hammond B3, although that would be even worse to haul around. I settle for simulating it with my IVL MIDI rig for now.

Piano (and keyboard variants such as Hammond organ and synthesizer). Piano was my first "axe", actually.

Marimba. It's my 2nd-favorite sound.
