Just ordered my copy. I think the is the second CD I bought in 2012. Not counting a great bluegrass CD that Leona Williams gave me. The other one was Justin.
Thanks to Amber, Randy, Justin, Tracy, etc... for recognizing REAL country music, and believing in REAL country music, and choosing players that know how to play REAL country music.
Many miles separate us, but when I listen to these guys play and sing, I feel like I'm there with them.... oh how I wish I could be.

I had the great pleasure to hear the selections Lloyd played on at Lloyd's house yesterday. Never heard anything like it, even when there was country music. The entire production kept me on the edge of my seat. Amber's singing is incredible in every way. Then there's Lloyd. No doubt the most fresh, up to date and unmatched playing I've ever heard on a country recording. Lloyd's tone on the very first note he played was so good I laughed out loud. In fact every time Lloyd had a part to play I laughed or teared up. It's that good.

sorry Peter...but you are wrong...but it's ok...i've been wrong before...only once, however...well...ok...maybe more than once...Peter Freiberger wrote:I could be wrong (It's happened once or twice)but I think 12. If It Ain't Love (Let's Leave It Alone) sounds more like Lloyd Green and 13. You Put Me Here might be Dicky Overbey?
i was present when both dicky and lloyd cut...dicky was on connie's cut of "if ain't love", back in the day, so obviously amber and i wanted him on our cut...and yessir...that is lloyd on "you put me here"...
so honored to have both Lloyd and dicky...AND Jim Loessberg...all playing on this project...

All I can say is WOOOOOOW! This is a must have CD for me. It is so good to see and hear that there are folks around who know how to produce and record real country music today and still have the heart to do it.
Thanks Justin, Amber, Randy and all the gang...and of course thanks to the gentlemen behind the steel.
Kind Regards, Walter

Mannn, that jaw's harp guitar at the beginning of "if it ain't love" just cracked me up like nothing has in a long time. Man, good stuff!
Green and Overbey, what can I say that hasn't already been said around here? But for me, Loessberg is a revelation. Just fantastic! Is he touring with the band? Is this coming out on vinyl? 20 more questions!
This record sounds like the planets have finally aligned over a twenty table sawdusted spring-board floor and smiled.

Thanks for letting us hear this project, every time I listen to stuff like this, I think I've died and gone to heaven. Lloyd is my all time favorite player, he always has a new twist and plays it sooooo smooth. Jim is one of my bestest friends and I had to say wow, where did he get this from. The whole project is top drawer. Jim are you going to bring some of these to the Phoenix show, I want one!!! Please.

New Amber Digby CD
All I can say is, it's too bad Nashville doesn't have something like this in the works.....well they have chosen another path, I guess. Bubble gum country seems to work for them and apparently they think that's all people want to hear these days. In many cases, their cuts don't even have a hint of a pedal steel guitar!! Thank God that Amber and friends still have the desire to crank out an EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY cd for the rest of us that still remember what good country-western music was/and is about! I'd get nauseated if I had to listen to very much of what Nashville seems to think is "Country Music" these days. From the sample of these cuts from Amber's new CD, every steel guitar player and "died in the wool" country fan should have this on their to-do list for 2013! I'm so excited, I've already ordered mine!! Many thanks Amber and Randy, keep on crankin' them out! Wonderful! Roger

Loyd Green, Dicky Overby,Jim Loessberg and Amber Digby
That is some beautiful singing, great steel and fiddle work. Going to order one of the albums. Either this young lady showed up on the music scene about 50 years late. She would have fit right in with Connie Smith, Dottie West, Tammy, Loretta Lynn. and others of the 60's. Lets hope she is setting a new page in country music for 2013. If this becomes the new country out of Nashville, Steel Players won't have time to be on the forum. They will be rehursing or on stage playing. The best of luck To Amber and her music.
