Got to be Gregg Galbraith on guitar. He's @ :52 and a double chorus @ 2:45.

Here's another Galbraith ride that will sound familiar: @1:32

A lot of Buddy's attack, IMHO, can be traced back to early Joaquin Murphy.

Absolutely fantastic fills, rides, and T-O-N-E !

+ the bar crash at 1:09, hammer-ons at 2:20, and what sounds like an hammer-on at 3:39 that the producer probably should've omitted.

Anyone know what album this cut is included on ?
I always need more examples of Emmons pure genius ! !

There was,
is,
and will only ever be,

one "Big E"

Ron, What I think is happening at 3:39 is that BE is raking from low to high across muted strings with his thumb up to an unmuted string. One of so many cool bluesy things he does that I dig so much.

It's off of a Step One album.......... Hall of Fame series.......... Clinton Gregory and Rob Hajacos on fiddle.......Jimmy Capps and Pete Wade on guitar. Buddy was playing MCI guitars back then. Some of the best music ever produced IMHO. http://www.allmusic.com/album/step-one- ... 0000097562
