How clean is your guitar?

Instruments, mechanical issues, copedents, techniques, etc.

If anyone cares, The cigarette smoke and dirt can be easily removed with Orange Clean Cleaner. Makes it smell nice, also. Just
FYI

I don't make it a habit to spit-polish them every time I get them out of the case, but compared to some I have seen, they are spotless. I always clean the fretboard when I change strings and I bought this new little brush that goes under the strings to wipe off the dust from the fretboard. I kinda use the level of dust to measure the time between string changes, LOL, so that little brush could get me in trouble someday. When the 11 goes I change them all anyway. My push pull has a matte rosewood mica, so it's always clean, won't pick up fingerprints like a gloss finish. Cool huh?

I like to keep all my instruments nice and clean. Not perfect, mind you, but clean. For some reason it seems I play better on a clean guitar and I need help, believe me. If a person can stand a dirty guitar and it's not so filthy that it doesn't play right anymore, so be it, but it doesn't take much time to clean one. Considering what they cost, I'm going to maintain mine.

Happy Holidays !

Noel Anstead swears he got 4 pounds of gravel and sand out of Eddie Smiths Anapeg when he sent it back to him for a service .
Michel Rose went crook at me when I had a go at him about the filthy condition of his guitar. He recons it was in great shape compared to Lucky Oceans'.Apparently his Sho Bud fell apart.
