SteelRadio on smartphones

Post by Lane Gray »

Just in case y'all didn't know, the TuneIn app carries the steelradio stream.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

Sadly, I've tried and tried to stream it on TuneIn, but it fails every time on my iPhone.

Daniel,

Try the win amp app for iphones. You might get a different response.

Thanks, Lane. I was looking for an app for steel radio on an Android tablet. Seems to work fine.

When I'm away from the studio, I keep an ear on SteelRadio using my Android. I found the WinAmp app on the WinAmp web site. There is an app for almost every phone or tablet on their site. No matter what you use, the important thing is that you get to hear your favorite music anywhere.

I plan to update my main database in the coming weeks. The new count is over 11,300 total songs. With everything in the main cart, the total tracks is 15,500 (+/-). It will take around 38 days to hear that 1984 Buddy Emmons song again.

Thanks to everyone for helping get SteelRadio to our new mobile arena. I understand that there are some new speakers for iPhones, Androids and tablets. I have not heard them myself, but I am told they are fantastic.
