This is more of a "looking to rent" sort of thing

Post by Mark Isakson »

So I'm playing two dates in NYC in early December and would prefer not to fly my steel out from Seattle. Are there any shops in NYC that rent pedal steels? I can't find anything online, but maybe some locals know. Conversely, if there are any forum members will to rent me one of theirs, I'd be interested.

Thanks,

Mark

Hey there Mark,

I sent you a message but wanted to post something here for you. I have a 2002 Williams 400 Series D10, Emmons set up that I have rented to a number of high profile steel players, easy action, light, great tone and very playable. Also can rent you a seat, and a Ken Fox modded NV 400 if you would like to use a steel amp. I offer delivery and pickup.

Give me a ring if you would like any more details or are interested in renting a steel.

Best,
