Williams Guitar Co.and the crossover

I ordered a crossover model 400X and received it on November 21 and I have to say the craftsmanship is outstanding.A beautiful guitar all the way around.Plays,looks and sounds great!
I would also like to say Bill is one of the best people to deal with.He kept me updated on the progress,answered all my guestions before the purchase,put my tuning on it(with plenty of extra and unusual changes) at no extra charge,and didn't charge the balance due until it was ready to ship.I don't think you can find a better guy to deal with.
I have found just one thing I don't like about the new guitar.With it being keyless I have to find a new place to put my bar bag.

Scott,
There is a mike stand clip (plastic)that is used to hold the mike cord out of the way would probably work,is small and could be put anywhere on your PSG leg without looking bulky or out of place.Radio Shack or your local music store should have them.

Scott, there are lots of differant types of clips you could use to make something to hang your pick & bar pouch on...ie: broom handle clip @ about .25¢ each - I use two of them on my drink holder, clips from Goodrich for their various effect units - I use one of theirs for my on/off mic switch for my headset.

Congratulations once again on such a beautiful guitar and knowing Bills' workmanship it plays and sounds great.

Scott.- Congratulations! How much does it weigh out of the case all setup? It seems like with the pedals and knee levers in the same place for both necks, with 5/5 it would be ideal.....al

Jim Bob,I already love it!
I put my bar pouch on my seat for now and that's working pretty good.
The pedals being in the same place is the reason for this purchase.I think it is about 37 pounds out of the case and set up.
I also got a split case with one for just the body and another one for everything else.
I have limited movement and can only get to about 5 pedals without pain.I like the 6th stuff but couldn't sit at the position needed to play that neck without pain.
I only play for enjoyment at home,and have been working on C6th stuff for several days now with no problems.Before about 10 minutes and I had to get up.The crossover was the only choice I had and I am glad Bill offers it.The mechanism works great and looks trouble free.
My son has a nice Mullen Royal Precision
D-10 9&9 that I bought before I figured out what the problem was.I had thought it was the holding in the knee lever on my Universal but it was the change in seating position.
I know this is just a slight change and it may seem hard to believe that such a little thing could be a problem.But it is just as hard to accept the fact that you can't do something that simple anymore.
I quit playing last time in the mid 90's but just can't get it out of my system.
