The Ultimate 4/4 Rhythm Tracks Collection

Post by Mike Headrick »

www.MikeHeadrick.com

I'm always thinking of new products to enrich a steel guitarist's playing experience, and I think I've hit on the ULTIMATE product for most steelers. (Studio quality with live Musicians)

Image

This fabulous collection of rhythm tracks features 48 of the most popular 4/4 (walking bass) songs of all time. I've picked the most melodic, steel guitar friendly 4/4 songs I could think of and recorded four volumes worth of great tracks tailored to the steel guitar (or any other solo instrument). Just take a gander at this track list!

Crazy Arms - Bb
Deep Water - F
Hello Walls - C
Half As Much - C
Sweet Dreams - G
Lonesome 77203 - C
Drinking Champagne - Bb / B
I Love You 1000 Ways - Bb
Close up The Honky Tonks - Bb
Another Bridge To Burn - G
My Shoes Keep Walking Back To You - F

Volume Two

Heart Over Mind - G
Storms Never last - C
The Other Woman - C
There Stands the Glass - C
You're Still On My Mind - Bb
Talk Back Trembling lips - Bb
Heartaches By The Number - Bb
Leavin' And Sayin' Goodbye

Volume Three

Pride - D
City Lights - G
I Fall To Pieces - Bb
Don't Be Angry - C
Burning Bridges - Bb
Take Me As I Am - C
Invitation To The Blues - D
No One Will Ever Know - C
You Wouldn't Know love - G
The key's In The Mailbox - G

Mike, I'm interested, but wonder if you could post a sample(short of course) so we could get a feel for the mix, etc. for our individual purposes? I'v bought a ton of tracks over the years and many times they are not quite suitable for performance. thanks for considering this. Lonnie

I got this package of tracks the other day, they are excellent! I have not had a chance to go though them all, but all those I've played are great. I'm going to put some of Mike's other tracks on my Christmas wish list. :)

Great Trax

Post by Terry Niendorf »

I ordered one of Mike's Trax (volume Four) to sort of test for quality sound. Not a bit disappointed. Great sound, obviously by great musicians. These tracks are nice enough to just listen to by themselves. Will be ordering more for sure. Thanks Mike for doing something really worthwhile.

Mike - would you be amenable to dealing with us overseas members of the Forum? Your product looks great and I would be keen to buy the whole collection.

Absolutely! I have lots of overseas customers and I ship free as long as it's OK to send without the plastic cases. If cases are desired for this particular product, just send an additional 6.00

Thanks.

Mike - I have dozens of empty jewelled CD cases, so buying the basic discs is good for me. Order has been placed.
