Don't know if anyone has posted any Tab for this song but I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this out. It's definitely not as easy as I thought especially when you're just starting to learn the steel. But it was fun and felt good when a friend told me I did a good job.
This friend did some tweeking for me, (he eliminated a slant and fixed the ending) and this is what we have.
BTW, the symbol " \ " is what I used to designate for a "slide down"
I realize it's a simple song but doing the tab right is challenging, at least it was for me. Now I just need to get a back track * hint hint * if anyone has one I'd be willing to pay for it. Thanks
Enjoy and
The Lord Bless

silent Night tab
Nice job David:
It's really easy to see this tune play out in my mind.
Tabbing is really kind of fun when you get on a roll.
Years ago I made a slide rule type affair where there were 8 parallel slides each with the notes on them so I could line up whatever tuning I was using, then I could tab easier. Of course now there's computers. My Idea was to have a way to quickly see where the chords were as well.
Hope you do some more in C6.
Dick
