Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to the pedal steel. I have been switching from fiddle to 5 string banjo to 7 string sho-bud resonator to a music man stingray 1 lead guitar in a band playing country, bluegrass, and 50's rock. I have just got my 10 string from carter and I know I'm going to need a lot of help from some or all of you. I'm planing on going mostly country with my stingray lead and the pedal steel. Thanking you in advance for the help I know I'm going to be asking for. Until then, thanks again. carlton harmon

Hey there Carlton,

Welcome - from one multi-instrumentalist "steel-newbie" to another. From my short time as a member (and a couple of months just reading the site before that), I can tell you the Forum is a tremendous resource. Good luck and enjoy that Carter!

As one Virginian to another....Welcome to the forum Carlton....Hope you get to enjoy it as much as I have. It's a wealth of information and feels like one big family...I follow it nite and day at work and at home so don't be afraid to jump in and get your feet wet.

Thanks for the comeback fellows. Glad to be welcomed to the pedal family. Time to start learning and I'm really looking forward to the ride. Until later, Carlton Harmon.
