Any Interest in a 97 Jazzmaster?

Post by Jeff Metz Jr. »

I am thinking about selling my 97 CIJ (crafted in Japan) Fender Jazzmaster to help fund my new pedal steel. The guitar is in awesome shape with the only issue being 2 small paint chips the size of a pencil eraser. They are not in the wood just the paint. It also has a buzz on fret 18( G string)
ImageAmazing tonal capabilities with this guitar. Has Jazzmaster ( p90-ish soapbar pickups) and plenty of tone knobs and switches. Doesn't have a proper case but will be shipped in a gig bag, box, heavily foamed/secured. This is a sunburst guitar. Will need new strings cuz these guys are old. If you dont have cash but have a steel to trade let me know . I can give you the difference in cash. Thanks guys.
You dont know how it feels to be completely without a steel for 6 months! Im dying!
ASKING*** $900.00 OR BEST OFFER.( OVER or UNDER)

This guitar isnt exactly light. Im not sure of the weight but I did play a 4 hour show and needed to purchase a wider strap. Honestly after the wider strap it felt as comfortable as anything. I would defenitly be interested in a carter sd10. How many knees and how many Pedals? If theres a chance you could shoot a few pics my way I would appreciate it greatly.

Jeff I have the same JM, I do use it a lot and it plays and sounds better than the original 62' I had.

Good luck on your sale.

Thanks for the kind words. I defenitly would keep it, but being without a steel for 6 months is awful.
