What a show we had this year! I'd like to thank all the 35 steel players that we had this year. Congrats to Keith Hilton for being inducted into the KSGA Hall of Fame. Congrats to Lonnie Detmer for receiving the Pioneer Award. Congrats to Terry Bethel for receiving the Steel Guitar Player of the Year award. Thanks to the back-up band for all the hard work that they did. Bob Dell, Larry Jackson, Roy Rosetta, Floyd McCoy and all the other players that helped them out. Thanks to all the ladies who worked in the kitchen making and serving the food. My sisters Louise Thomas, Linda Edens, Anita Flowers. Barbara Rosetta, Clara, Guyla, Shirley, Fern and all the other ladies that worked so hard. Personally Thank You to Norma Jean from the SSSGC for taking care of the donations and membership cards. Thank You to Charlie Streichen from the OzSGA for helping the players set up their instruments. Thank you to Joe Naylor from Phoenix for being a great MC. Thank You to the City of Baxter Springs for letting us use the Community Building. And finally a great big Thank You to all the people who came to enjoy the show. If the good Lord is willing & the creeks don't rise, we'll see you all next year for our "11" show the first weekend in October, 2013.

Ray I know I had a BALL, I heard nothing but praise all weekend about how good the Show was this year.
You all sure know how to do one up right.
The back up band, great as usual and the girls in the kitchen, WOW, what a performance!!!!
When I got home and finally got thru the door Brenda said, eat that salad right there!!! 
Looking forward to your next show ole buddy.

Fred, the show wouldn't be the same if you were'nt there. You've been there 9 out of the 10 that we've had. Thank you for making all the potato soup again this year.Thanks again ole buddy. Love you, Ray

Ray I enjoyed the show and was happy to help out a little.
As I said during the show I felt like I was at home Thursday night now by the river it reminded me of being back home.
Then the only steel show I know of that you can eat till you explode. Lots and Lots of great food and the ladies (and Randy) that were prepairing all the amazing food.
And now I can add KSGA to my list of associations I belong to.
Hope to make it next year

| Thank you Ray and Lee for all the hard work that goes into putting on the show. I really enjoyed making new friends and seeing my old (not age) friends. I really enjoyed the church service Sunday and hearing the testimonies. Of course Jerry and Venda doing my song! I think it was a favorite of everyone.As you said the good Lord willing we'll do it again next year. |

Thanks Donna we hope lots of the folks that were at that show comes out to Phoenix in January - 70 degrees in January plus lots and lots of great steel players.
We are going to have lots of new great players this year too.
