Emmons knee lever

Post by David Decker »

Looking for the parts to add a vertical knee lever on my 94 Legrande. Also is the Emmons vertical knee lever adjustable for height?

You can buy the kit from Emmons on their website. I bought a new LeGrandeII earlier this year and added a vertical to it.

The vertical lever does not have the allen screw adjustment like the other knee levers but you CAN adjust the height. There is a stop bracket that comes with it that has an adjustment screw and also you can adjust the length of the pull rods when you initially set it up. The vertical knee kit is $172.50 and the phone no. for Emmons is 336-227-2782. I just put 3 knee levers on my LeGrande II. If a left-handed Norwegian can do it, anybody can! Image

Stephan:
Yes, you can adjust the height of the vertical lever. You adjust the stop bracket with the screw and lock nut located on it. Lenghten the screw to drop the pedal down and shorten it to move the pedal farther up. Likewise you need to shorten or lenghten the vinyl nut on your pull rod(s)accordingly.
