Jody Nix and Johnny Bush from the Texas Dance Halls. Interesting inlay on the D-10 Emmons. Whoever it was played really good, what I all "muscular" pedal steel. Big tone, aggressive licks, the usual suspects but played really clean. This was on RFD teevee, the same as Marty Stuart's channel.
Anyone know who that was, I'd like to know. :- )

Rick played on "Season 2", but I think Johnny Bush was there for Season 3, so Jim Loessberg was doing the steel as the "house" band. Jody brought his own, the famous Jr Knight! |
