? for Johnny Cox

Post by KENNY KRUPNICK »

Hi Johnny, I received the rod I needed from Bruce last week To raise the first string on my Zum from F# TO G#. My question is, which slot in the bellcrank, and which of the three raise holes would be the best to rod this change for the best leverage and so forth? Thanks. Kenny Krupnick.

Hi Kenny..saw your post..I talked to Johnny today and he said he would be glad to help with your question. He said that it would depend on what else you had on that pedal or lever as to where you would put the rod. If you would email him and tell him what else you're doing on that pedal or if you are replacing a change with this change. He'll get back to you. His email is jcoxsteelguitars@aol.com

Hi Joan, the other change on this knee{RKL},lowers the 6th string,G# TO F#, a whole tone. I want to raise the first string F# to G# with the new rod I have, and of course keep the 6th string lower change on too.My Zum is a 1996 model. Thanks. <FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by KENNY KRUPNICK on 17 October 2002 at 10:56 PM.]</p></FONT>
