Hilton Pedal Off Point adjustment
I've been using this Hilton pedal for seven or eight years and have had no problems with it. Recently I noticed the off point adjustment does not turn the pedal off. When it is turned all the way down, it is at about 25% maximum volume. Does anyone know what might cause that? Keith ????

Bob, thanks for using my pedal. If you have been using the pedal for 7 or 8 years you have a pedal that has 3 adjustments. Pedals made after January 2010 only have 2 adjustments--off point and tone. For a pedal with 3 adjsutments, set the "volume" adjustment all the way like a clock turns. Set the "off point" adjustment at high noon, and start turning turning it the opposite way a clock turns--until the pedal goes off in the off position. If you can not get the pedal to go off by turning the "off point" control, then the pedal needs to be sent to me for repair. The following is my repair policy for pedals out of warranty.---- The flat rate cost of repairing a pedal is $16.00. This usually covers everything except a bad power supply, or a pedal that has been rode hard and put away wet. If repairs exceed the flat rate of $16.00, I will contact you before I proceed. I charge $14.00 for return shipping—provided you live in the United States. Shipping to Canada and over-seas is more. If you send your pedal to me, include a note in with the pedal telling me what is wrong with the pedal. A note in with the pedal is VERY important. Send $30.00, your note, and pedal to: Keith Hilton 248 Laurel Road Ozark, Missouri 65721.
Be sure and send your power supply with your pedal.

I have a similar issue with my Hilton - absolutely love it, but I have to sacrifice overall volume to get the off point to actually mute. If I turn the off point counter clockwise it will be off when my heel is down, but the overall volume is considerably less than when the pedal is not in the chain. I just compromise and set the off point where it's almost off, but doesn't reduce the volume by too much. I would love if there was something I could do to fix this (my pedal has the LED and 2 adjustments, tone and off point).

Kevin, I can set the output anyway you want. If that is all that is needed, I do that free of charge. All you need to do is send me your pedal, with $14.00 return shipping. Include a note with the pedal and tell me you want a little more output when the pedal goes off in the off position. Be sure to include the note and print your return address clearly.

Let me find a good time when I don't have any gigs coming up and I will definitely take you up on that. Thanks!
