Just got back from Yuma,AZ and picked up my D-10 Lacquer Infinity from Frank Carter. It looks and sounds beautiful.

thanks to all who made it fun this past year.....which was just about everybody! I must say that one of my fondest parts was when the Commander strutted his stuff on Shake Rattle and Roll! Heck, he had everybody Shake Rattling and Rolling! Thanks for makig it all fun. Heck, now we have many good things to be looking forward to, even the trumpet player will be playing steel! I am not sure many of us can reciprocate!

The jam sessions are entirely my pleasure. The steel guitar has been taking a back seat to our western swing music too long and we are able to bring it to the front if only 3 hours a month 8 months a year.
We enjoy having you and for your continued contribution Mark...and you're right about Dean Schilling..he's a monster player on that trumpet...think how he'll be on that new Infinity.Stephen Cowell, you are a "HOOT" and we appreciate you coming to the jam sessions....jr

Roger, My Hero, you know where our hearts are...Western Swing and will stay with Western Swing forever...however the Commander is a "HOOT" and everyone laughs and enjoys his song. But there is nothing like Roger Edgington playing western swing....how was that getting out of trouble?...jr

My reasons for picking the Infinity are:

1) sweet creamy sound enhanced by rock-maple block wood
2) 20 coat lacquer finish to maintain wood moister control
3) key-changer brackets incorporating rollers, making
the key changes ultra-smoooth, WITHOUT compensators.

7) Inlay (Alabaster?) decor
8)Standard Emmons copedents for E9 & C6, using 8 pedals and 8 knee-levers

I now see why you were so hyped on this brand... very nice indeed. The inlay decoration is ah-baloney, I believe.

Thanks guys. Glad you found this informative. I'm also setting up Band-In-A-Box, per Jim Baron's files, so that should make practice more interesting.

I'll be playing every other week in the Big Valley starting next month (Donna, TX). Hope we can get together somewhere in the mean time.
