Alan, I've never heard of a Canadian version of the Steel Guitar Forum, could you explain? There was a Steel Guitar Quebec forum for a few months, but nothing really happened with it. Here is the link. http://www.steelguitarquebec.com/ is run by a friend of mine named Louis Vallee. He sells GFI and Emmons and all sorts of accessories. A good guy.

I will add that my wife was jumping for joy when she found out that there was an Emmons dealer 5 minutes away from us Image

I could be mistaken as to it being a canadian version of the forum, however someone on gave the address to me a few months ago and it featured canadian steel players, depots for guitars and accessories and lists of steel guitar festivals such as the one in o.k. falls...the steelguitar.eh, produced nothing Joey...tnx, think that must hv been a joke...

Alan, that was the steel guitar Quebec site. However that information is not there anymore. At one point there was a list of festivals and manufacturers. Hope this helps.

steelguitarform.eh was my attempt at a joke.
"eh" = Canadian, get it?? sorry...

The site that Jon refers to
( www.steelguitarcanada.com )is Al Brisco's "Steel Guitars of Canada" business site. Although it's a commerical site, there's lots of photos and info. No forum though. No need for one, IMO.

(btw, I'm the webmaster at Al's site)

What could the Canadians possibly have to say to each other about steel guitars that they wouldn't want the rest of us to read about? (On second thought... don't answer that!) Image

It's not that the Christians don't want anybody to hear what they're saying...I put the site up because many Non-Christians DIDN'T want to hear what was being said. Image

It's not trying to replace this forum. It's simply there as an additional resource.

Btw, thanks for the plug. Image
