Got the guitar listed on eBay...had it sold to a gentleman in Siberia, but shipping was over $1,900.
Universal 12 single neck MSA. This guitar was made around 1978 based on the serial number, 1C 5969. It has the double raise/lower "Classic" along with the wood case with compartment for a volume pedal. The pickup is an MSA SuperSustain..which has a silky smooth sound. This particular guitar was played by Glenn Lee up until his passing...
It was relaquered along the way and is now black with a gold trim border. The pegs were also changed, gold tuning pegs...very classy looking guitar.
The guitar is in excellent shape...pedals, levers and raise/lowers work just fine.
This guitar is setup in the "Day" tuning;
LKL lowers 2 and 9
LKU lowers 5
RKL raises 4 and 8
RKR lowers 4 and 8
Pedals:
A raises 4 and 5 one whole step (E to F# and B to C#
B raises 3, 6 10 half step (G# to A)
C raises 5 and 9 whole step (B to C#)
D combines raise and lower 9, 11 and 12 (B to C, E to Eb and B to G#)
E combines 7, 11 and 12 (F# to F, E to F, B to C#)
F combines 4 and 8 (E to F, E to D
G raises 5 and 6 whole step (B to C# and G# to A#)
I'm selling my steels and keeping just one guitar, a Carter S10 C6...the tuning I use most often anyway.
Price: $1,200.00
The case is quite heavy so shipping in CUSA will be $75. I will ship Worldwide, but this is a heavy large box and shipping options are severely limited and variable based on your location....I will not ship until I receive payment for the guitar and the cost of shipping.
