Sorry for the dress standard and clutter in the background but I just started the camera for fun and to see if I could do this whole you-tube thing. Feel free to comment as I am newbie to the steel guitar thing as you can see with blocking and slants. Thanks to Doug Beaumier for tracks and tab - loving it!! The lap steel is one of my own builds.

Jeff, that sounds great! Nice guitar too, I like the pickup. I'm in the same boat as you. I go to an Open Mic every Monday and the same hosts rotate there every 4 or 5 weeks. Last Monday the host smiled and said "you've been practicing!" I think it's more playing than practicing. We get better without realizing. I call it baptism by fire!
