Anyone out there know of somone who repairs pedal steels in the Orange County-Los Angeles Area? Blackie Taylor (Riverside) is out of town for 2 weeks. I have an important gig in 3 weeks and really need to have some adjustments done to my steel. Any suggestions?

Danny--- I use Chris Allen Burke in Signal Hill. His number is: 562 424 2187. He does great work and is fast and reasonably priced.

Dan, Thanks for the suggestion. By the way, I'm going to be hosting a jam session at my billiard/sports bar (Danny K's) on Sept. 12 at 8PM. Jim Rice will be the singer/guitar player, and a host of good musicians joining in. If you'd like to sit in, let me know. Thanks again, Danny

Danny-- thanks for the invite. I know your establishment well as I pass it on my way to Pro Music or Steve Soest's shop. I may stop in to hear, but won't have time to bring any gear and play. Thanks again.

Dan, There will probably be a couple of steels here if you want to just stop by & sit in. We'll have a fajitas buffet-should be a lot of fun. Danny
