Well now you've done it. You have got me more confused than normal. Are you Mike or Dave??, either way bring that other Terry Guy With you. Because if I remember right that was not his stage name when we both lived in Las Vegas.

Branson Super Show

Post by Buddy Lewis »

Well I sure am looking forward to this weekend. It's a very good feeling to be surrounded by so much talent. Saw a clip of Terry Bethel playing his steel guitar at the Grand Ole Opry with Mel and it sure was an inspiration. Our association here in Branson is one of the greatest organizations I've ever belonged to and I've gotten more enjoyment out of it than any other. This weekend will prove to be no exception. Jerry and Venda Hanley and Charlie and Rosemary Steichen are tireless in their efforts to plan and put on a great show. Thanks guys! Bill Myrick is indispensible with his knowledge and camera. Thanks Bill! My hope is that everyone has as enjoyable time as I always do. I've got a feeling that this show will be one of the best. Don't miss it.

Buddy, will you have your upright with you Friday? My son wanted to know if you would let him play yours as we don't really have room to bring his.

Lee - I won't have it with me this weekend. No place to put it without damaging it. I'll be using my pickup and pulling the trailer with the PA and speakers and stuff. Those are pretty delicate instruments as you know and I don't have a hard case for it yet (expensive).

Jerry Roller CD's at the Branson show

Post by Jerry Roller »

I have playing jobs Friday and Saturday nights so Terry is giving us a Sunday slot. (Thanks Terry). I have 5 new CD's that Jerry Newberry will have on his table starting Friday. Please buy one or two are more from Jerry. We are donating $2.00 from each CD sold to the Ozark Steel Guitar club so you will be helping a needy family (mine) and the club as well. Most of my songs on the CD's are using tracks I leased from Mike Headrick in Nashville done by Nashville musicians and backing on my CD's is first rate. Steel playing is just me....but I hope you like them. :)

Looking forward to being there Saturday to hear some great playing! My plans for Sunday are totally up in the air. Been craving some Steel lately! My pastor and music mentor Lowell Lundstrom passed away last week and he is the one that introduced me to the sound of the steel guitar with his steel player Bill Simmons..So ya ive been thinking alot about the Steel lately..CANT WAIT!
