Have any of you Forumites visited the new location where the TIME JUMPERS are playing?
What's it like? More room? Better seating?
How's the sound?
Would enjoy hearing from you! |

Sigh...Another perfect example why many members don't post anymore...Here's a clear question from Ray and the first response is just complaining about style/grammar...
BTW, I don't know how ray "talks English" on the Forum, usually posts are done in writing.

Walter, if I may speak for Edward, I think he was making a funny tongue-in-cheek comment about "country" grammar. Not really anything there to get upset about ….. |

Ray,
I went to see the Time Jumpers this past Monday and I think the new venue is great. Yes there is more seating which should serve them well as they were turning away people at the old venue. (The Station Inn) The atmosphere is the same... very supportive and the sound was great as well. _________________ www.BuckReid.com |

Walter, I appreciate your rallying to my cause. Very nice of you to take the time.
Buck......I sincerely do appreciate the 'inside' information about the new location. If all goes well, I'm hopeful to be able to see them 'live' once again this coming Septemeber.
Edward.......wouldn't YOU have been more correct by stating this way: "them there Time Jumpers."????? |

Ray,
I've been to the new venue once. Thumbs up in every way! Not a bad seat in the house and accoustics are outstanding! |

Just so nobody thinks the new venue isn't some sort of secret location, it's the 3rd and Lindsley Bar & Grill. Larger and shall we say not quite so "down home" as The Station Inn.
Like The Station Inn there is a ton of great music there on a regular basis. If I lived in Nashville I'd probably be down there once a week.
I was just looking at the current schedule and I see The Players will be there on July 12.
I'm hoping to get back to Nashville again this November for the 2012 Resosummit put on by Rob Ickes at the Scarritt Bennett Center next to Vanderbuilt.
We have three nights of dobro-centric shows at The Station Inn during these conferences, and if they are on the schedule I'd love to catch The Time Jumpers on the Monday evening after the Summit at 3rd and Lindsley. _________________ Mark |
