Great tone and playing Ruth. I love your Country too...played in Zurich for 2 weeks once Smile ....i see your dog enjoyed it too. Dogs love the sound of the steel. Mine sits next to me when I practice.

Ruth, That was very nice. Out of all the newer steel players I have heard lately, you are the one progressing the fastest. Keep up the good work and serious study.

Hi Ruth...unfortunately it was just Zurich, at a place called the "Herschen" ...we stayed up stairs, and had a free meal and 4 drinks each after we compleated the evening. During the day we did go to a place and got 2 cable cars ..a small one first, then a very large one which took us up the mountain. Was unusual to be in a T shirt amongst the snow drinking wine at the restaurant and watch the Swiss airforce fly "BELOW" you amidst the mountains. I seem to have forgotten the name of that place, but i'm sure it began with "L" .... good days Very Happy

Hi Ruth...it could have been...perhaps the place beginning with "L" was near it, because some of the boys walked around town as the rest of us went up the mountain. I remember it wasn't far from Zurich...you're lucky to live in such a beautiful country. The gig at the Hershen music hall was great...the audience would applaud the lead instruments when you took your solo....you never get that kind of thing at most of the clubs in UK....the band just happens to "be there" ...They sooner drink and talk!! Mad many thanks Very Happy

I think too it was Lucerne and the Titlis mountain.
Well here is no pedal-steel-country but you're right, this country has some beautiful sites within only short distances.
I was lucky to show switzerland to guests from overseas. Seeing it with their eyes, I really enjoyed it much more than before
