This is from Travis as posted in the identical thread in the Steel PLayers Section.
I originally tracked the song with RF and Dann Huff back in April of '11, where I wrote the signature intro/turnaround lick, etc. At that time there was a guitar solo instead of a banjo solo, and the outro was quite a bit different. They later re-tracked it on another session, which I wasn't available for, and my friend Ilya Toshinsky recut the part. He added the solo and outro stuff. It is indeed a 5 string banjo, not a 6 string "guit-jo/banjitar". Also, if you believe that this song has imposter banjo playing, take a shot at the licks in the outro. I think you will find it somewhat challenging.

I'm not a fan of banjo, but I'm liking it more in todays music! :)
