I have over 45 years experience playing regular guitar in jazz, blues, ethnic, country, and in the past 9 months have taken up lap steel and pedal steel (d-10), and can double on Fender bass.
I would like to do traditional stuff for starts and go from there! Singer, bass player (upright would be great!), and either steel or acoustic guitar. I'll play electric guitar until I feel stage worthy on lapsteel and PSG (100 years from now) The intent is to develop a working band for steady casual work, have fun, and play well!
Here's a song list I 've been compiling:
Cold Cold Heart
San Antonio Rose
Crazy
Steel Guitar Rag
Remington Ride
Mansion On The Hill
I Fall To Pieces
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive
I Could Never Be Ashamed of You
Please Don't Let Me Love You
Lost Highway
Blue Eyes Cryin' In The Rain
Fly Trouble
There's No Room In My Heart For The Blues
Nobody's Lonesome For Me
I Ain't Got Nothin' But Time
May You Never Be Alone
Rigamortis Blues
Tennesse Border
We Live In Two Different Worlds
Hey Good Lookin'
Lovesick Blues
Move It On Over
I hear That Lonesome Whistle Blow
I'm Walking The Floor Over You
Drivin' Nails In My Coffin Over You
I'll Take A Back Seat For You
Petticoat Fever
Sweet Dreams
Flatland Boogie <-- Maybe!
Wabash Cannonball
Pistol Packin Mama
Rosalita
I'm Losing My Mind Over You
One White Rose
Panhandle Rag
