Hey fellas, gonna throw myself on the mercy of the court here another time. I watched "Midnight in Paris" with my parents about a month ago and it was a struggle for my 86 year old dad to follow it (he said, "I just keep waitin' for something to happen"). So I recorded this last week and put it up on YouTube for Father's Day and his 87th birthday this Friday. Feels like it might be his last. My mom reported that he loved the recording, so that's good. He's a wonderful jazz trumpet/valve trombone player, my first and foremost musical inspiration. So this is for him:

Hey Doug
I tried to load it three times but each time my computer crashed.
I think it was written and recorded by Sydney Bechette on Soprano Sax....I think it translates to "If you see my Mother"...no doubt our French friends will correct me...........
I also think it was recorded in the latter half of the 1950's by clarinetist Monty Sunshine with Chris Barbers Jazz Band in England....under the title of "Lonesome"........Monty also had a Monster Hit around the same time with a Sidney Bechette tune called...."Petite Fleur "
