Big D,
Dads a very special,,,especially when they have left us.
Keep him alive in your mind and heart and he will still talk with you, help you make decissions, and guide you where you need to go.
Many years ago your dad and I were pretty close friends as we worked together some back then.
My heart and prayers go out to you and the family for God to give Peace, bring comfort and understanding.
Your friend,

David
So sorry to hear about Chuck's passing. I really enjoyed meeting him and hanging out with both of y'all when I was in Sacramento back in 2003.

At that time (Oct 2003), my father-in-law had just passed away a week previously. I was grief-stricken and didn't want to go to CA, but my family insisted it would be good for me so I went, and saw you and met your dad. I was very glad I did.

Hang in there my friend. Your buddies are with you here, in spirit.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Please accept my deepest condolences David and my sincere thanks for your help in arranging for me to meet Chuck last year. Your Dad was a great person and a genius who made huge contributions to this instrument so many of us love. He'll always live in my heart through the inspiration I've drawn from him.

Chuck Wright was a giant in the steel guitar world, His designs and guitars were among the best.

David, I was fortunate enough to get to get to hang out with your Dad when he was out in Gresham Oregon. He seemed almost like a mythical figure at the time.

It wasn't until I began to work at Sierra (just after Don Christensen bought it) that I was able to truly appreciate Chuck's mechanical genius. He definitely needs to be inducted into the SGHOF, if he's not already a member..............He will be missed.

David, my thoughts are with you.
