Not exactly Americana but fine use of the steel in ambient by one of Englands best players BJ Cole http://youtu.be/U3Kx4TRu4F4

That's a cool piece. Reminds me a little bit, in style, of a remix I did a while back...I slopped some pedal steel all over it and aggressively processed it with a KAOSS pad. Get ready for weird...

Eric: Saw you with The Halyards at Bake's Place in Bellevue last month. Hadn't realized you were a steeler. Excellent show, enjoyed your guitar playing and Chris Middaugh's steel. Album sounds great, planning to pick it up. Love to hear more of your steel playing.

Eric, I asked for, and received "Badlands" for Christmas. I am really enjoying it. Musically, very pleasant to listen to. Great production and beautiful steel sounds. Did Terry also play a ShoBud?
