Stage mic from last week's gig at Gaia's Garden. Just a duo - me and Hugh Harris.

The steel is my Desert Rose S-8 (Goodrich 120 pedal, Mesa/Boogie Maverick amplifier), and the recorder is a Zoom H2 sitting on the piano beside me. The vocal sound is all monitor. I thought it came out pretty good for a stage recording.

Nice Selections!

Bob,
Nice selection of easy to recognize standards. Great sound from the two of you. Cocktail drum set would sound even more authentic!

I agree with Glenn, the only thing that would have made that sound better would be a cocktail drum set (and drummer, of course). Nice job, b0b!

Harlem Nocturne! Do I hear "Lush Life" at your next recording, or maybe "Chelsea Bridge". Great playing - forget the drummer, IMHO :)

Nice! You were really on top of your game. Rig sounded great too.

It would be cool if you could do a set at the next Phoenix show.
