Merle Haggard is coming to a Casino in our area.
Does he carry a PSG on his Casino Circuit?
Thanks

Norm played when he was at the casinos out here. I can't see him leaving Norm home.

I believe that Norm is also his band director.

I saw him recently here in San Diego. Norm was with him. It was a magic night. Fantastic show.

Couple of years ago he played a show in a casino near Bartlesville, OK. Haggard had a stripped down version of the Strangers with him, including Benion swapping leads with his old man. Mr. Hamlett was present and in top form. I can't say enough how excellent the show was, it really was fantastic.

He'll be in Texarkana in June and already have tickets. He better have a steel or I want my money back.

When I introduce Norm at a steel guitar show I always point out he can not get a job since he has to play with that same singer all the time.

After about 3 or 4 years Norm finally said that he had been with Merle for 43 years because Merle made him the band leader after he had been there about 6 months and that he had not gotten up nerve to fire himself.

Yep band leader and I think when he sings Norm is there.

Boy, I hope so! We're heading to Manistee MI to see him at the end of July.
