“Commander Cody - Live From Deep in the Heart of Texas” has always been one of my favorite recordings, and Bobby Black just tears it up.
BTW, it is also on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of Top 100 Albums of all time!

However, “Live From Deep in the Heart of Texas” (recorded in 1973 at Armadillo World HQ) had only 13 songs from the concert on it, since it was issued on an LP.

Great news for Bobby Black fans:
A recent 2-CD set “Commander Cody - Live from Armadillo World HQ 1973 & Capitol Theatre 1975” contains the rest of the 1973 AW HQ concert, PLUS the complete concert CC&LPA recorded in 1975 in NY-- after Bobby Black rejoined the band after moving to Nashville where he toured with Barbara Mandrell and did session work.

“Live from Armadillo World HQ 1973 & Capitol Theatre 1975”
On Amazon for just $18, ($10 in used condition):

Conway's "She Needs Someone to Hold Her" is a good one. It has Conway's, I mean, John Hughey's version of "I Just Destroyed the World" on it.

Conway did a pretty decent job backing John up on that one. That is one of my favorite intro's and solo's. I get to do it with one of my bands, but I still don't sound like John.

Loved the Hot Licks and Cold Steel album with Bobby Black.

Bobby Black tears it up in this video of Everybody's Doing It Now! The lyrics may be offensive to some especially if they saying what I think they are saying...
