This album was re-released in the last year and I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
Originally a collection of tracks Gene recorded in 1972 with Sneaky Pete, Chris Ethridge, Michael Clarke, Spooner Oldham, Clarence White, Byron Berline, Herb Pederson, Chris Hillman, Roger McGuinn,David Crosby, Bernie Leadon and Rick Roberts.
In other words, the Byrds and the Flying Burrito Bros.
This is (IMHO) one of Gene's finest albums. Sneaky Pete is on many of the tracks, but really shines on "Here Tonight," one of Gene's most engaging ballads.
The album was released in Europe only and then much later on a a couple of CD releases. This version is a Sundazed issue and the've done a nice job on it, with pretty extensive liner notes.
You can find it on Amazon or on the Sundazed website.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to get this on CD. I have it on vinyl from when it was first released.

I am a huge Gene Clark fan, and have been one since I was about an 11 year old kid and first heard "I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better" when my older brother brought home that first Byrds album.

It's funny, I can remember almost every circumstance in which I added another "new" Byrds album to my collection. Allthough a little overproduced in my opinion, "Roadmaster" is worth having.

The two Dillard and Clark albums (Gene and DOug Dillard) are well worth seeking out also.
