I have a PA100B that sounds like a machine gun about 30 seconds after it's turned on. I haven't contacted Stewart but heard they don't do factory service anymore. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

Hi Darvin:
I would contact Stewart anyway and I don't understand why they would not service what they manufacture. However, if that is their policy, maybe they know a qualified tech that can help you out?

stewart will service the amp but they have a flat $150 beanch fee so that amp may not be worth reparing .i have one that needs reparing .you can get them off ebay cheaper than the repair.not many people will work on stewart amps.ive had a lot of work done at stewart and know the guys well but they will not cut the price ,they have a job to do and that just business.
they have stop working on some models ,they no longer have the parts for them
hope this helps |

Stewart will work on PA100's, their bench fee is $100 for these and I'll have to pay shipping both ways, but if the parts aren't too expensive it will still be OK. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
