Attention Steel Guitar and Country Music Fans:

It's time to mark your calendars and make your reservations for the big Heartland Steel Guitar Dinner Dance on Friday April 27th at the American Legion hall in Blue Springs. Please visit our website at www.HeartlandSGA.org for times and other details.

Remember you have a choice of Dinner, Dance, or Both! But we sure hope you will come out for both because:

The BBQ will feature beef brisket, ham, and pork smoked up by a well known BBQ contest winner who has placed consistently in the top 5 at the American Royal BBQ Contest.

Members: we are requesting volunteers for side dishes like potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, and bread or buns for sandwiches. Please contact Roger Hurst at 816-769-7008 and let him know what you can bring. The more volunteers, the less each needs to bring.

This is more than just a dance! This is a show too!!

Musically, this event has really escalated into a big evening. In addition to the great Middle Creek Band featuring Bobby DeMoss, Carl Butler, Elija Chastain, Jody Austin, & Brad Meadows, we will feature special guests Marvin Cave, formerly with Dottie West in Nashville, Larry Hurst formerly with The Presleys and Bald Knobbers in Branson, R. D. Owsley singer with many of the Midwest's top bands, Cliff Waterman formerly with Cal Smith in Nashville, and Bruce Zumsteg formerly with Ray Price's band.

This is too good for your friends to miss out!

Success will be measured in smiles and your friends will thank you for thinking of them too. We need all of you to start calling your friends, neighbors, and relatives so they don’t miss making reservations for the Dinner Dance. Don’t forget to tell your Facebook friends too! Your help recruiting paves the way for an even bigger show this Fall!!! You won't find a line up of country music talent like this anywhere short of Nashville so let's round-up everyone you know and make your reservations today.

Want to do more to help our organization?

Please print out several copies of the Dance Flyer below available at www.HeartlandSGA.org and get them out all over town.

For reservations you can call the Heartland Steel Guitar Association Hot Line at 816-373-2309 or make reservations by credit card or PayPal on our website at www.HeartlandSGA.org

For any questions, please contact Roger Hurst at 816-373-2309 or 816-769-7008.

Great News Guys....
In addition to the outstanding line-up of musicians and singers for our BBQ Dinner Dance, we have just added Marvin Bredemeier on fiddle. Marvin was previously with Hank Thompson and The Brazos Valley Boys.

This is gonna be one heck of an evening of great country music. See the previous posts if you haven't already made your reservations.

For those of you who missed our dinner and dance you missed quite an evening. The magnitude of Bobby DeMoss, Bruce Zumsteg and Cliff Waterman was worth the whole evening. We had a good crowd and all had a good time. If we ever do another one you won't want to miss it. Than you to all who showed up and thanks for the great steel guitar artistry of these 3 great player's.
