I have new guitar with a pedal that lowers the G#'s to G in E9 tuning. This is on the 0-pedal, immediately to the left of the A pedal.

Any suggestions for uses of this pedal, other than the handy but obvious minor chord? Any suggestions for other chords or phrases, perhaps combined with other pedals/levers?

Use Pedal-0 + A-Pedal for a 7th chord.
Whatever chord A+B makes, A+0 makes it a 7th.

Also, if you are into Theory and Modes, you now have the Major Scale in chord form starting at an open position.
For the Key of G, start on the 3rd fret.
Start off using strings 8,6,5, or 6,5,4, or 5,4,3.

1-Do - I - 3rd fret open
2-Re - ii - 5th fret with G#>G
3-Me - iii - 7th fret with G#>G
4-Fa - IV - 8th fret open
5-So - V - 10th fret open
6-La - vi - 12th fret with G#>G
7-Ti - vii - 14th fret with G#>G
8-Do - I - 15th fret open

On strings 3,4 and 5:

0+A+E is a 7th chord one fret above your "pedals up" triad - for example, G7 at 4th fret.

0+F is a 7th chord two frets above your AB triad position, e.g. C7 at fret 5.

0+A+F is a 9th chord two frets below your A+F triad - G9 at 4th fret. The 0 pedal is to your A+F triad what the "X" lever is to your pedals up triad and the E lever is to the AB triad (lowers the fifth a half step).

Being found on the same strings as the main triads, these chords all connect smoothly to other familiar chords.
