A lot of players have emailed me lately asking when the new book will be ready, and I tell them... about three more weeks. But I've been saying that for two months! Cool

Anyway, I'm mixing the 25 songs now, and I hope to get the book to the printer soon. Meanwhile I'll be posting some of the new songs here in the next couple of weeks. The songs are a mix of Country, Hawaiian, Christmas, old standards, a couple of surf tunes, etc. Aloha, gracias, and peace...

I won't way that it has been about the longest three weeks that I've ever seen or heard tell of, but as much as I have enjoyed and learned from your first book I'm sure the wait will be worth it for the second. I know that you posted the 25 songs that will be in it but could you whet my appetite again, as I can't seem to find that post.

Thanks, Kay. I'm glad you like it. I got most of the harmonies and ideas from Jerry Byrd's 1958 recording of this tune. Mine is a more basic arrangement, of course... Cool

Thanks, Andy. It's a '56 Stringmaster, short scale. The guitar is a D-8 but I'm only using 6 strings for this tune. Also going through a Black Box, Goodrich volume pedal, Boss delay, Holy Grail reverb. No amp, direct.

Sounds great Doug!! Love it! Put me on the list for this book too. Recently, I have been wishing that I still had that D-8 Guyatone that you sold me a couple of years back. Sad

I sold it to a guy in Nashville who traded it to someone and I have lost track of it. Sure wish I could snatch it back up. Ah well.... such is life. I trust you will be posting something as soon as the book is available?

Gary, I miss that Guyatone D-8 too. It was a real nice Stringmaster copy. I was more comfortable playing that guitar than my Stringmaster! It had wider string spacing and it really 'growled'.
