New Carter's here with me!

Post by John Sluszny »

Today's a big day.My new mahogany Carter S 12 Universal has just been delivered. It took it just three days to cross the ocean and now it's here just waiting for me to practice and play.
I want to thank all of you "Forumites" who helped me make my choice (especially Larry Bell,Al Marcus,Ad Kersten,Loren Nelson,Tim Harr,Joe Henry,Ricky Davis,Jim Smith,Carl Dixon...) and all the others who, without even knowing it,helped me too.
Thanks to Bobby Lee's forum for being such a great experience and to the Carter Company for building such quality instruments quickly and accuratly.
As Ann Fabian said the other day on the phone:John,we want you to be a "Happy Camper".
Well...I'm one!!! Image Image Image
[This message was edited by John Sluszny on 07 June 2002 at 11:27 AM.]

[This message was edited by John Sluszny on 11 June 2002 at 12:47 PM.]

Wow, John..congratuations on your new guitar. Those Carter people build a nice guitar, and they are really fast...imagine, crossing the ocean in only three days. Ann musta put a powerful outboard on that one...just kidding. Once again, congratulations.

Congratulations on your decision, John. Carter makes a really fine horn. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Image
