Finally got around to posting. Due to luggage restrictions I could only bring one full size guitar to USA this year, that had to be my Gibson Jumbo. This left me with the problem of getting a weissenborn over to Dallas. In steps Richard Cross of shapely wood guitars http://www.shapelywood.com/guitars/ . He had previously made a prototype 7 string for me and he kindly agreed to prepare a 6 string 243/4 scale weiss style travel guitar for the journey. He did a great job and being able to carry two weiss's in shoulder bag meant I could increase my 'repertoire' to cover C6th material, especially handy when busking ( something i have done all my live and still continue to do so between gigs, it keeps yer chops up and enables one test out new tunes in live situations , plus I shift CDs, pick up students etc ) Anyway short vid and some pics of the instrument in action.

I was very impressed with the "Weiss-N-Go".......nicely constructed and wonderful tone......very realistic acoustic sounding.... |

What more is there left to say. Outstanding instrument, beautiful musicianship. _________________ "I shall pass through this world but once, any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now.
