Prayers and Well Wishes
I certainly agree that Bob is not only a great builder of Steel Guitars but you'd be hard pressed ti find a nicer person to do business with. I also know that his wife is a great helping hand and does most the packing for shipping. I will keep both in my thoughts and prayers.

Joan Allen (Melbert Steels)
Thanks for the get well wishes. Joan had triple bypass surgery and is doing well, expect her to be out of ICU early next week. She has a long road ahead and probably won't be back here minding the store and working on lap steels for 3 to 6 months. She did much more than just handling the shipping. She is excellent with the final hand sanding, staining, spraying, buffing, putting strings on and finding everything that I misplace. Without her help and with the many trips to the hospital, I'm running a couple of weeks behind but other family members are pitching in and I expect to be back on schedule soon. Bob

Mrs Melbert (Joan Allen) is home
After 3 weeks in the hospital and 2 weeks in rehab, Joan is back home. She is still facing 10 weeks of outpatient physical therapy and a lot of work ahead, but the worst is over. Thanks again to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
