Thanks guys. You're right, Dennis. it will be amber. Just a dusting of it on the deck just to tone down the whiteness. Then solid classic amber on the front and rear aprons and the neck

WOW, beautiful cabinate Bent !! Love the inlay banding. A two-tone amber will look great on that guitar. Martin.

Chris, Yes I must admit that two narrow strips look better than one. I am always afraid of overdoing anything. I guess gaudy is the word...so I go the careful route. But like you said, this looks better.
It wasn't my idea - the buyer wanted it this way. He even selected the inlay strips from Constantines.

Bob V - you are always so supportive and it is truly appreciated.

Chuck, That was the most original compliment I have received thus far. Thank you!

There has been a change of heart as far as the color scheme goes. The buyer has now decided that I stain the aprons black and the top & neck in the dark amber color. So I can't call her Amber no more.
My suggestion of "Blamber" didn't sit well with him so Ben, you'll have to help me out with a new nickname Smile
