Advice needed

A friend of mine is looking to buy a round neck (not for slide) resonator guitar. He has a budget of about $1500, and is open to all styles-wood, metal, brass, old, new, etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

Steve......I have a 1972/3 (I'm the original owner) dobro that originally was round neck.....In the early 80s I had OMI put a square neck on it, but kept the round neck in case I ever wanted to swap back to a round neck.......if there's an interest, let me know.....
