I am looking for a couple knee levers for the project guitar I am currently working on. I am needing shobud tear drop type , I noticed Michael Yahl said in a want to buy post he had some of these sent to the polisher.
My question is this..Since I am painting or powder coating these would I be better off to get them in the raw? If so where can I get them?? _________________ WILCOX SD10 (love the white mica)

David, I haven't gotten those teardrops run yet, that will be after Dallas.
If you'de like some in the raw I'm sure that we can do that. _________________ "Don't fergit to kiss yer horse!"

Thanks Michael, I was hoping you would chime in here.I am not a metal worker by no means nor do I know alot about powder coat .It seems like a friend of mine who used to do body work told me there are certain steps in working with chrome to remove any plating before this can be done. I was wondering if this action also pertained to something like levers, pedals, etc. _________________ WILCOX SD10 (love the white mica)

As long as the aluminum is cleaned properly there should be no problem with a powdercoat. They may opt to prime first. _________________ "Don't fergit to kiss yer horse!"
