This Friday, March 2nd, Ron Rogers and the Wailing Wind will be playing at the Landmark Saloon, 4847 SE Division at 9:00, no cover charge. This is our first time playing the Landmark and we want to make a good impression. When I booked this gig the owner asked me about my crowd and wanted to know if I had any wicks as fans. Well I know all of you personally and I assured him there were no wicks. I used to play a honky tonk in Leander, Texas called Itchy's Cabaret and Itchy had a sign behind the bar that said "No Wicks Allowed". So if your brother-in-law is in town and you know he's a wick, don't bring him! Otherwise, see you Friday.
